The Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards (APSEA) Gala Dinner
The Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards (APSEA) celebrate the achievements of top spatial information enterprises and individuals and showcase the finest projects and most significant performance of professionals that the Surveying and Spatial Industry have to offer. Projects and individuals attaining recognition at this premier event are deemed to be truly outstanding achievers and pre-eminent in their field.
The Spatial Industries Business Association and Geospatial Information & Technology Association (SIBA/GITA) and Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) look forward to welcoming you to an evening of celebration of industry on Wednesday 29th April 2020 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Dress code for the APSEA Gala Dinner is cocktail style.
The APSEAs seek to recognise excellence by organisations and individuals in the spatial industry across the Asia Pacific region in six industry award categories and five individual award categories.
APSEA are excited to announce the Gala Dinner Master of Ceremonies Lee Constable. Lee is a freelance presenter/producer focused on the intersect between science, tech, society and culture to create content in unexpected ways on screens of every size. Lee is the host/producer of Network 10’s science TV show, Scope and has completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours), Bachelor of Arts, and Master of Science Communication. In 2018 Lee was selected for the WCSFP Emerging Producers Program.
With an interest in climate change, Lee was part of the largest all-female expedition to Antarctica and authored How to Save the Whole Stinkin’ Planet. As the founder of Co-Lab: Science Meets Street Art, Lee brings together street artists and scientists to create live science-inspired street art for the public. Her past gigs include performing live shows with Questacon Science Circus in remote Australia, founding, producing and hosting youth social justice and sustainability radio show/podcast, SoapBox, and giving night-time nature tours as an Education Ranger.
