APSEA Gala Dinner


The Spatial Industries Business Association and Geospatial Information & Technology Association (SIBA/GITA) and Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) look forward to welcoming you to an evening of celebration of industry at the APSEA Gala Presentation Dinner.

The APSEA Gala Dinner will take place on Tuesday 9th April, with pre-dinner drinks at 6.30pm and dinner commencing at 7pm in the Sovereign Room, on level 1 of the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

Dress code for the APSEA Gala Dinner is cocktail style.

The APSEAs seek to recognise excellence by organisations and individuals in the spatial industry across the Asia Pacific region in six industry award categories and five individual award categories.

APSEA are excited to announce the Gala Dinner Master of Ceremonies Natasha Mitchell. Natasha Mitchell is presenter of ABC RN’s science, technology and culture program and podcast, Science Friction.

Natasha is a multi-award winning ABC journalist, presenter, podcaster and documentary maker. She regularly chairs public events, debates and forums around Australia, including three science dialogues with the Dalai Lama and guests, and writes occasional science book reviews for national newspapers, and is excited to be apart of the 2019 APSEAs!

The Regional Industry ASPEA’s are now open for 2019. Enter now to be in the running for an Oceanic APSEA to be awarded at LOCATE Brisbane in 2020. Remember you can submit any project within two years of completion so it can be something you were doing last year or even in 2017 and it will still be eligible.
